This is how the portuguese music for band is celebrated, by the hand of composers from various generations.Coros e Danças Medievais, by renowned Cândido Lima, dating from 1978, will be interpreted for the first time outside the context of a school. Composer Lino Guerreiro presents a commissioned piece that reveals an author who is especially comfortable with wind and percussion instruments. The finalists and winner of Concurso Nacional de Composição da BSP (BSP National Composition Competition) will also be presented.
