The Remix Ensemble reviews the works commissioned by Casa da Música to the Young Composers in Residence, from Shadow Circles where Sonia Grané gives voice to the music of Vasco Mendonça through the poetry of Dylan Thomas, until the recent creation of Ana Seara, premiered in late 2014. In eight years of artistic residencies, the legacy of the new generation of Portuguese composers shows the diversity of approaches and the openness to different aesthetic currents as one of the most striking signs of our time.
