Henrique Portovedo presents a retrospective of his career dedicated to contemporary music with a number of national and world premieres. If on one hand the works of Sotelo, Aperghis and Berio represent a new aesthetic in the repertoire for saxophone in the transition between the XX and XXI centuries, the works of Lopes, Kiyama, C. Silva and Hugo Correia reflect the influence of the saxophonist and his performative language. With multidimensionality as his action plan, this concert will enjoy the participation of special guests like Nuno Aroso, Hugo Correia and João Rapozo Video Art, among others.
