    Eliahu Inbal direcção musical

Anton Bruckner Sinfonia nº 4 em Mi bemol maior, “Romântica”

Ever since he won first prize in the Cantelli Conducting Competition at the age of 26, Eliahu Inbal has enjoyed an international career, conducting leading orchestras worldwide. Over the years, he has been appointed principal conductor of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Czech Philharmonic and the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. The Israeli conductor, who lives in Paris, received international acclaim for his interpretations of Shostakovich, Mahler and Bruckner on a number of award-winning recordings and was the first to record the original versions of Bruckner’s symphonies. In his return to Casa da Música, Inbal conducts the repertoire of his specialty and for which he is recognized by critics all over the world.

Full of contrasts, Bruckner's Symphony No. 4 is known as The Romantic and continues to enjoy the same popularity since its debut by the Vienna Philharmonic under the direction of the legendary Hans Richter.
